Come and watch the stars! During Winter months the Department of Astrophysics organizes a public observation evening every last Friday of the month at the Starwatch on the Huygensbuilding.

From 19:00 hrs, you're welcome to take a look inside our starwatch, have the telescopes and Astrophysics in gernal explained, and if the sky is clear, we will show you the most beautiful objects in the sky. There are 2 rounds, one that starts 19:00 hrs. and one that starts 20:00 hrs. Gather in the main hall of the Huygensgebouw situated at Heyendaalseweg 135. Free entrance.

NB: the starwatch can only be reached by stairway.
