-FABIO ZANDANELI ​will briefly review the current picture of cosmic rays in clusters of galaxies with a particular focus on high-energies. Cosmic-ray protons are confined in galaxy clusters, can accumulate there for cosmological times, and can be accelerated to about 10^20 eV. Hadronic interactions of cosmic rays with the cluster ambient gas, the intra-cluster medium, generate secondary electrons, gamma-rays and neutrinos. Are we detecting these secondaries?​ Will we ever detect them?
